Championships Finals Update

Sunday, July 15th, 2007

Four more 2007 One Click Champions just emerged. Eric Klinger and Hang Lee won Sunnyvale Doubles 3.7 getting the most prestigious doubles title in our community. Andrew Huysmans won Palo Alto Singles 4.1. Gitea Perkings won San Jose Singles 3.5.  Ajeet Kumar won Sunnyvale Singles 2.5.  I presented five other champions in my earlier article and seven more remain to be crowned.  Unfortunately the exciting Sunnyvale Singles 4.2 final that we announced earlier is now under a question mark because of Hendra Rustam’s injury.  We hope that Hendra will get better soon and will be able to play Eric Tiger. Check out the website for the latest match results. -Z

More generous trial membership plus our new feedback channel

Sunday, July 8th, 2007

We are just introducing two improvements to our trial membership program: (1) trial period starts when we arrange the first match for a new user and (2) trial period lasts 60 days.  We hope that our new users will play tens of exciting matches during their trial period.  Please note that our new users enjoy even more generous trial membership if they play matches on courts located in specific geographical areas subject to our pilot program – watch for a special note when you register.  You will also notice a new element in your DASHBOARD page, a voting box.  We will be using this mechanism for getting your voice on important aspects of our service.  The first topic subject to voting is the format of our very next tennis competition event.  Check it out and vote.  – Z
